Can I consign at Bruce?
Anyone can consign at Bruce, however we only accept items from our list of pre-selected designers. Items must be current styles (typically no more than two years old), in excellent condition with no signs of wear & free from spots, smells and damage.

How many items should I bring?
We start consignor accounts with 5 items or more.  It's recommended that you bring in at least 10 items as we may not be able to accept everything you bring in.  If you plan to bring in more than 30 items at one time, please contact us in advance.

Does Bruce buy outright?
As a rule we only consign - our experience shows you'll make a better return from consigning.

What are the terms?
After GST is deducted, Bruce and the consignor split the sold price 50/50. Commission rates are negotiable on high-end handbags & items deemed exceptional.

Who sets the selling price?
We set the selling price based on current market value and previously sold items.

How long is the consignment term?
Our consignment term is 90 days, at the end of which it is the consignors responsibility to collect any unsold items.

When do you process payments?
We process bank transfer payments on the 1st and 15th of each month, cheque payments incur a $2 charge and are processed on the 1st of each month.

How will I know if my items have sold?
We will email you in conjunction with your payment on the 1st or 15th of each month. Cheques can be collected in-store or postage is available for an additonal fee of $2 per letter.

Does Bruce consign fakes?
Absolutely not, we thoroughly examine & research all items before consigning to guarantee their authenticity.
